I’m starting The Simple Blogging Network up again after a 2 and a bit years hiatus and I’m scared of a trillion different things.

I’ve been having thoughts like…

What if no-one likes me anymore. What if no-one reads my blog or remembers me.  What if I’m a big fat miserable failure.    What if things have changed and I won’t know what to do!

What if, what if, what if!

Then it hit me.  My daughter Leigha started high school two weeks ago.   She was lucky enough to get into a great school but it meant 54 of her friends from primary school would be going to different schools.

Nothing strange about that.  It happens to a lot of kids but nonetheless it’s a pretty scary time for any kid when they are moved from what they know and have to make new friends in a strange new place.

And that’s where I am right now!  I’m also transitioning into a new phase in my life.  In a sense I’m starting over (again) and everything’s a bit of an unknown.

But change is good, and so is being scared!

It means we’re human, and that we’re alive and if we’re alive we’ve got a job to do.

So if I can help my 11 year old transition into this new stage in her life.  I can jolly well transition into mine as well…

…and then by the end of her time at high school I’ll have rebuilt my blogging business, bigger and better than before.

And that’s exactly what I’ll be concentrating on and manifesting in my journal
